Pete Mauro, Founder & CEO

Before launching First Ascent Labs, Pete spent years leading technically complex initiatives in which the challenge was not just building new technology, but getting it into the hands of users and making it work in the real world.

Pete's background includes early work on AI glasses at Microsoft, developing first-of-its-kind AI robotic platforms, and building new tech ventures from concept through go-to-market.

This experience shapes how Pete approaches AI today. Companies do not need more demos or disconnected pilots. Instead, what's needed are need clear AI priorities, cross-functional alignment, and execution that turns promising technology into growth, efficiency, and operational excellence.
